📝 General Guidelines – GSEO 2026
🎯 Eligibility
Open to students from Classes 6 to 12 across all schools in India.
🧪 Mode of Examination
- Offline Mode – Conducted in school premises as the designated exam center.
🏫 Minimum Participation Requirement
- Each school must register at least 50 students to participate in the Olympiad.
📅 Important Dates
- Last Date for Registration: 05 August, 2026
- Main Examination: 12 August, 2026
(Schools may choose their preferred date and time at registration.)
- Result Announcement: Last week of November 2026
💻 Examination Platform
- Offline: Conducted using OMR sheets provided at the school.
🗣️ Medium of Examination
The Olympiad will be conducted in English.
❓ Question Format
- Total Questions: 50 (25 from Science + 25 from Environmental Science)
- Sections:
- Section A – Science
- Section B – Environmental Science
- Marking Scheme: No negative marking for incorrect answers
⏱️ Duration
The total duration of the examination is 45 minutes.
📍 Examination Venue
- The offline examination will be held within the school campus.
- The exam will be organized and supervised by the School Coordinator.
